Fittings and Scans

Howdy.....I haven't checked in for a while, so it's nice to catch up!
I got measured for my tux today and have been scanning pictures for a wedding powerpoint. It's been a lot of fun going through the old albums and looking at you guys growing up. (memories...sniff..sniff).
Hopefully all is going well in soon to be baby land.

LASIK?

I read your post and it didn't dawn on me till I talked to mom last night that you were getting lasik! I read right over that. hopefully it works great for you, and you'll never need glasses again!

YAY!!! We are soo happy to hear that you guys have your clothes ordered! (Derek and Casey are doing a BEER BRUNCH when they are getting theirs! :)

So, we finally have Derek's wedding band ordered, as well as mine!

Derek's should arrive in approx 2-3 weeks. He is getting a custom ordered ring in Titanium.... and mine should arrive by Wednesday.

Also I have Lasik coming up on Thursday...

I think that I am going to look awesome on my wedding day!

Weekend

Sarah and I were both good bridesmaid and groomsmen this weekend. I placed my reservation for my tux at men's warehouse, and Sarah bought her bridesmaid dress at David's Bridal. We will definitely have to have the thing altered as close to the wedding as possible since the staff at david's bridal kinda guesstimated how big of a dress we'll need for a 9 month pregnant woman. Sarah and I think they might have guessed a little too big, but only time will tell.

We also went to an awesome new restaurant (well, new to us), Texas Roadhouse. I had a 16oz sirloin and it was amazing! We also re-watched Raiders of the Lost Ark in preparation for Indiana Jones 4!

Weekend Follies!

Hello! Just curious how your weekend is going. Derek and I have kept it pretty quiet and watched 27 dresses. A cute and predictable little flick, but it was fun. Not much else is going on here --- possibly will lay out for a bit... before it hits 100+ days over 100 degress. It was 99* yesterday.... about to be hot for the next 6 months... So, when do you want to visit! ;)

Showers

I am now coming to understand the shower process.

Someone comes to you- or someone you know and says... I want to throw a shower for ! Please find out when a good date for a shower would be.

Then the bride/mom to be/ whomever looks at the date book and comes back and says.... date, date, date and date work for me.... Then the person planning the shower goes... ok well the 3rd date works for me... and the planning then begins!!!

No planning starts until you get back with a date... no date, no party :(

No party- no free stuff!

Anywho, I bought my tickets for my bridal shower... I'll be in town June 14th!!! So depending on what mom and Mrs Cronin have planned... dinner might be fun!

Mother's Day

Mom, Dad, Sarah, and I all went to lunch saturday afternoon for mother's day/ my birthday. it was a lot of fun. While out we also ordered Ellie's Crib. It is really really nice! Thanks Mom and Dad!!! We also finished up our baby registry at Babies'R'us. just go to their website and search by Sarah Ross, or go into the store and do the same at the registry counter.

I'm not sure whats going on with baby showers, I think people are arranging them, but we haven't really heard anything yet.

Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday! the big 26 years old. Sarah made me a funfetti cake, and we had homemade veggie sushi for dinner.
I got Target gift cards from Tristin and mom, and grandma got me a Macy's gift card. I plan on going shopping this weekend to get myself some much needed new clothes. I'm excited I could really use a nice new pair of slacks, and a couple new shirts.

Saturday:
Mom, Sarah, and I went to a big baby rummage sale thing down in South County. It was very productive. We bought a stroller, infant car seat, 2 car bases, and one of those baby swing things. And we got all of that for a very low price, Thanks Mom.

Later we went to a crib store. We found a crib that was really really nice and not too expensive. We also found a really nice rocker chair that wasn't too bad either. So far we are leaning towards those items.

We also stopped by Target to kick start our baby registry. We also think we are going to start a registry at Babies'R'us. Target has most of what we need, but their are a few items that we would prefer from 'r'us. Elizabeth Darcy Ross' Registry

Oh yeah, and La Bonne Bouchee is amazing. Its the best place to get dessert from in the city! if you haven't been and you like dessert, you need to go!

I will miss Grandma, it was nice having her around for a few weeks. I didn't get to see her as much as I would have liked, but it was nice having her in town.
