Davey got out of the backyard yesterday. The latch on the gate was broken and the door opened. Luckily he was found and leashed by a nice lady a couple blocks away.
In the short term I placed a large rock, retaining wall piece in front of the gate to keep it closed. I bought all the items I need to repair the gate and I will do that this weekend.
Also, Guiness is staying with us this weekend, while Ellie is riding along with mom and dad to Indy. I hope Tristin has fun running her 5k this weekend there as well.

Also I'm so glad that you were able to get Davey back w/o the scary search team like before! How nerve wracking! Plus that would have made for an awful birthday present!
